Pre-order Policy
Pre-orders are items currently not in stock. We offer pre-orders for most coming soon products so you do not miss out on limited edition releases or regular products which can be sold in a short time. Estimated ship dates for pre-orders are located in the description and are subject to change. Definitely you "secure " your purchase by pre-ordering the pen.
How long will it take to arrive?
Once we receive the pre-ordered items we will ship them to you within 1-3 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once your item has shipped with a tracking number. If you order includes in stock and pre-order items we will ship your order complete when all items are in stock. Please contact us if you request in-stock items to ship first.
When will you charge me for my item?
To secure your item, you will be charged at the time of purchase.
Can I cancel my pre-order?
If you wish to cancel your pre-order, please contact us via email (info@fountainpenhospital.com) or call us at 212-964-0580.
Return Policy
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product and get a full refund for the merchandise. You can return a product for up to 30 days from the date you purchased it. Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. Please keep the receipt.
If you have inked your fountain pen, please contact us for return options.
Manufacturer Warranties
Unless noted otherwise on our site, all products are sold with the full manufacturer warranty. The period and service of the warranty varies depending on the manufacturer and product. If you experience problems with an item after the 30-day period has expired, please contact the manufacturer directly.
Processing Refunds/Replacements
As soon as we receive your returned items, we will inspect and process the items. Replacements and refunds are normally processed within 4-6 business days. Restocking fees may be apply on case by case.

Shipping Policy
Domestic Shipping
Fountain Pen Hospital is happy to offer free economy shipping for orders over $75. Shipping for orders below $75 will start at $7.99. Most orders are shipped within 1 business day. Once your order ships, we will e-mail you a tracking number so you may track it at UPS.com or USPS.com. Please note transit times do not include weekends and holidays and deliveries only occur on business days.
We do offer express shipping. Please note express orders will be shipped out within 1 business day. Transit time begins when the order ships and does not include holidays and weekends. Some products are not able to ship express.
*Please note orders over $1000 will require a signature upon delivery to receive your shipment.
International Shipping
International shipping is available for select countries. Once your order ships, we will e-mail you a tracking number so you may track it at UPS.com or USPS.com. Please note transit times do not include weekends and holidays, customs inspection, and deliveries only occur on business days.
Most international orders are delivered within 7-10 business days after shipping. Unfortunately delays can occur and it can take up to weeks for delivery in some countries.
The recipient will be responsible to pay any duties or taxes. If a shipment is returned to us for failure to pay any duties or taxes we can re-ship your order for an additional shipping charge.
If you need to update your shipping address please email (info@fountainpenhospital.com) or call us at 212-964-0580. We will do our best to update the shipping address if your order has not shipped. If your order has already shipped we will not be able to change the shipping address. If the order is returned to us we can re-ship for an additional shipping charge.
Gift Card Policy

- Both Physical and Virtual Gift Cards are available
- Gift cards can be used on any order over $25
