Order Processing
At Fountain Pen Hospital, we prioritize orders based on their placement time, classifying them into three categories: In Stock, Available, and Coming Soon. This system ensures efficient and effective order processing. The estimated shipping timeframe depends on the item's category at the time of purchase.
In Stock: Items in this category are fulfilled within 2 to 4 business days. These products are physically available in our workshop, ready for immediate shipment. This category guarantees the fastest delivery for customers who need their pens urgently.
Available: Items in this category typically require 7 to 10 business days to fulfill. These products will be shipped as soon as they arrive at our workshop, with delivery dates depending on the manufacturer's schedule.
Coming Soon: Products in this category are about to enter our physical inventory and will be classified as "In Stock" upon arrival. Orders for these items will be processed swiftly once they are received in our workshop.
Our team will promptly contact customers if their orders exceed the estimated processing time. Please note that orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

To secure your item, you will be charged at the time of purchase.
We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
We also accept PayPal as well as ApplePay and GooglePay payments.
Any orders shipped to the state of NY will be charged a sales tax of 8.875%

We accept orders from nearly all countries, subject to the availability of shipping services from our current carriers in those regions. If you do not see a shipping method available for your country, we regret that we are unable to ship to that location at this time.

Fountain Pen Hospital is happy to offer free economy shipping for orders over $75. Shipping for orders below $75 will start at $6.95. Most orders are shipped within 2 business days. Once your order ships, we will e-mail you a tracking number so you may track it at UPS.com or USPS.com. Please note transit and delivery times do not include weekends and holidays.
We do offer express shipping. Please note express orders will be shipped out within 1 business day. Transit time begins when the order ships and does not include holidays and weekends. Some products are not able to ship express.
*Please note orders over $1000 will require a signature upon delivery to receive your shipment.
International Shipping
International Shipping
International shipping is available for most countries. Once your order ships, we will e-mail you a tracking number so you may track it at UPS.com or USPS.com. Please note transit times do not include weekends and holidays, customs inspection, and deliveries only occur on business days.
Delivery times for vary by country and shipping method chosen at checkout.
The recipient will be responsible to pay any duties or taxes. If a shipment is returned to us for failure to pay any duties or taxes we can re-ship your order for an additional shipping charge.

Not 100% satisfied with your purchase? Return the product within 15 days from the date of purchase.
To qualify for a return, product must be in new condition and in original packaging. Return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
Be sure to provide order number along with your return.
Manufacturer Warranties
Unless noted otherwise on our site, all products are sold with the full manufacturer warranty. The period and service of the warranty varies depending on the manufacturer and product. If you experience problems with an item after the 15-day period has expired, please contact the manufacturer directly.

As soon as we receive your returned items, we will inspect and process the items. Replacements and refunds are normally processed within 4-6 business days.

Only one promotional gift card can be redeemed per order. Promotional gift cards are issued by Fountain Pen Hospital for specific promotions. This does not include gift cards that were purchased by a customer. They have a one-year expiration date.
