Namiki Yukari Royale Lioness and Cubs - Fountain Pen

Regular price $7,500.00

Yukari Royale Night Scene Of Pavillion The theme of the latest addition to the Yukari Royale fountain pen line is a new rendition of a beautiful pavilion set deep in the mysterious Chinese mountains. Pavilions are customary in many Asian artwork, not only for historical reference but also to symbolize the mysterious depth of the human mind. The beautiful Night Scene of Pavilion was created through togidashi-taka maki-e techniques, consisting of a burnished-raised design applying a layer of lacquer, sprinkling gold or silver powder and drying with an additional lacquer layer to fix the powder. You will see that stunning combinations of silver and gold powder are used throughout the penü artwork with the traditional black lacquer accentuated with gold powder background. The Yukari Royale Night Scene of Pavilion will be a regularly featured item in the Namiki line. Each pen is carefully crafted and painted with the signature of the artisanü, Yutaka Sato, from the Kokkokai Maki-e group. The fountain pen has a #20 18 karat gold nib with rhodium accents that features the customary Mount Fuji illustration. Nib sizes are available in Fine, Medium or Broad.
