S.T Dupont Line D La Flamme Gradient Collection - Fountain Pen
The Gradient collection by S.T. Dupont showcases their expertise in applying natural lacquer to writing instruments. It's available in two finishes: La Flamme and La Mer, each offering a gradient effect with luxurious blended hues. The pens come in S.T. Dupont's large Line D and are crafted entirely at their factory in Faverges, France. Ancient Japanese and Chinese lacquer techniques are utilized in the manufacturing process, with each pen undergoing a two-stage production involving hand painting up to 9 layers of natural lacquer and spraying additional pearlescent lacquer for the gradient effect. The collection includes fountain pens and rollerballs. La Flamme from the Gradient collection by S.T. Dupont indeed features a gradient transition from bright yellow at the top of the cap to warm orange, then to bright red, tapering to a deep burgundy red at the end of the pen.
