Parker 51 Next Generation. First launched in 1941, Parker 51 was unlike no other pen that had come before it. Its innovative hooded nib and featuring a bold range of colors, the 51*s streamlined silhouette provide a seamless transition from its barrel to its hooded nib giving Parker 51 its own distinctive identity and remains the prized possession of many pen collectors worldwide. Like the original, the Parker 51 barrel is made of a glossy resin and the hooded nib, like the original has been maintained. The new Parker 51 has a screw cap fitting which improves the sealing around the nib, preventing the nib from going dry. --------------------------------------------------- 51 Core Collection. The core collection is enhanced with a stainless-steel cap and resin barrel and is available in 4 colors and is available with a stainless-steel nib, available in M and F widths. Cartridge/converter fill (converter not included) The collection is completed with a matching, twist-action ball pen. ----------------------------------------------------- 51 Deluxe Collection. The Deluxe collection is enhanced with a Gold plated chiseled adorned with a pearlescent cap jewel and resin barrel and is available in 2 colors and is enhanced with a 18kt gold nib, available in M and F widths. Cartridge/converter fill (converter is included with the Deluxe) The collection is completed with a matching, twist-action ball pen.
