Conklin has chosen classic, innovative designs and filling mechanisms from the golden age of fountain pens. First developed by Conklin in the 1930s, the Word Gauge piston filler allows the writer to view the ink level through a transparent window in the barrel. The window indicates the estimated number of words the remaining ink will write! Each fountain pen is fitted with a two-tone steel nib, available in M, F and Stub (single tone) widths.
