Commencing in 1997, the "Originals of their Time" series was meant
to replicate five of Pelikan's most famous models of the 1930's.
The original models were copied in most every detail, size,
materials and even weight so that the new pens looked as similar
as possible to their antique ancestors.
This pen closely replicates in every detail the original Pelikan
110 manufactured by Pelikan in 1931. The 1931 White Gold Sports a
black hard rubber piston knob and section; the cap and barrel are
made of an 18 karat gold fill and are decorated with bands of plain
stripes alternating with a wavy guilloche pattern. Pelikan's
original 4 chick logo is etched into the cap top.
