Platinum 3776 Century Yakusugi Cedar
Japanese Yakusugi Cedar provides the base material for this fountain pen in warm gold-colored trim. Normally furnished with only limited nib choices, we can make this pen available with your choice of Platinum 14k solid gold nib.
Our complimentary nib tuning adjusts pressure and ink flow to your own personal preferences. Our exclusive nib customizations can add to the character of your writing on the page, and can also make this pen a valuable tool for the professional or amateur calligrapher. We are an authorized Platinum dealer.
Each Platinum 3776 Century Yakusugi fountain pen is individually handcrafted from natural cedar wood sustainably harvested on Yakushima Island, located off the southern tip of Japan and long known for its rain forests and lush vegetation. Each piece is individually selected for grain and color and carefully shaped - no two pens will ever be exactly the same.
The Yakusugi utilizes Platinum's convenient cartridge-converter system - the pen can be filled with any bottled fountain pen ink when fitted with the provided reusable converter, and can also use Platinum brand disposable ink cartridges.
