First published in 1870, the novel tells the story of three shipwrecked travelers taken aboard the Nautilus, a futuristic submarine helmed by the enigmatic Captain Nemo. Portholes, turbines, coral reefs, fins and giant squid tentacles provide rich inspiration for this extraordinary creation.

The pen is a deep marine blue and features guilloché engravings animating the famous squid from the novel. The pen has submarine details, with a moving propeller at the base of the pen.
